Description
Fabulous early WWII Remington Firearms war worker "V" for Victory pin by Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, N.J. The pin depicts a "V" in the center shaped with two '03 Springfield rifles and reads: "PLEDGED TO VICTORY REMINGTON WAR WORKER". The reverse shows the original paper label intact and reads: "THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. BUTTONS, BADGES, NOVELTIES, AND SIGNS NEWARK, N.J."
VINTAGE:Circa WWII.
SIZE:Approximately 7/8" in dimeter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid, steel, paper, ink.
ATTACHMENT:Straight pin.
