Description

ARTIFACT:

Rare WWII circa 1944 United States Marine Corps VMTB-234 jacket patch. This example is the 2nd design with a winged, mailed, fist in the center against a blue background with a red and yellow border. The patch was combat worn and removed from a flight jacket.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1944.

SIZE:

Approximately 4-3/4" x 4-3/4".

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk thread.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn on.

CONDITION:

8+ (Excellent): The patch shows minor wear and light soiling, was removed from flight jacket, colors remain bright, overall excellent condition.
