Extremely Rare Early Ca 1950 Cuban Seccion de Motocicletas Policia Nacional Wing Badge

Ca. 1950 Cuban National Police, Motorcycle section "badge" (wing??) in sterling silver with a Harley on it! The center depicts a nicely detailed motorcycle with two red enameled bolts rising from the gas tank or seat area and the outer enameled ring reads: "SECCION DE MOTOCICLETAS POLICIA NACIONAL". The badge appears to be made in Cuba, but the word "CUBA" is covered by the pin hinge – the reverse reads: "ANTIGUA VILARDEBO Y RIERA" (RIERA obscured), "HECHO en CUBA" (CUBA obscured)

Circa 1950.

Approximately 2-1/4" in length x 15/16" in height.

Nickel plated brass, enamel, sterling or coin silver.

Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.
