This is an Extremely Rare circa 1904 First Issue Asbury Park New Jersey Police Badge # 3 in Nickel Plated Bronze.

We have found reports of Policing in Asbury Park Starting around the 1893. Incorporation, which the Construction of this badge could Easily Support, but the official Date for the Department is 1904.
