This is an extremely rare circa 1930 United States Marine Corps "China Marine" enlisted man left collar (or overseas cap) EGA. The eagle, globe and anchor is in Meyer Metal, a proprietary metallic mix of that company that is very resistant to tarnishing.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height and 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing, stabilization post.
MARKINGS:MEYER METAL and MEYER NEW YORK shield maker mark.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The EGA shows only some very light wear.
