ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare circa 1910-1912 Boy Scouts of America donation pin. The pin is a paper American flag, with a neat rippled effect. Despite Oklahoma becoming the 46th state in 1907 and the Boy Scouts not forming until 1910, the flag shows 45 stars, probably from a printing template carried over from the days since Utah's statehood in 1896.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910-1912.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" in height and 1-13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Paper.

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Boy Scouts collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAJX09 LBCEX5/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The flag has a minor crease and is otherwise in very good condition.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
