ARTIFACT: This is an Extremely Rare 1870’s – 1880’s Lincoln Park Illinois – Now 18 th Precinct Chicago Police Badge # 50. 18th Precinct Chicago Police is an area of patrol, New York City and other big cities are broken up into precincts. At least for the police departments. 

VINTAGE: 1870s - 1880s.

SIZE: Approximately 3” in height x 3” in width.

CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated Nickel with painted lettering. Wonderful folded-arm 5-Point Star with applied shield at center. Heavy period-of-wear-Pin Repair.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical Safety Style Pin.

MARKINGS: N/A.
