Happy Holidays & Happy Collecting, Ron & Kanae
Extremely cool, early 1950’s Globe Aircraft Target Drone desk paperweight for KD2G-2 & KD6G-1 drones. The paperweight features each of the drones are depicted as miniature models colored in red and white detail. Each drone is encapsulated within the top half of a globe and the outer edge of each reads: “GLOBE CORPORATION – AIRCRAFT DIVISION – JOLIET, ILLINOIS”. The paperweight is named to: “CAMERON N. LUSTY”.
Circa early 1950’s
Approximately 4” x 7” x 1-1/2”
Clear plastic resin, paint
This is from an aviation collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX16 LAGEX3/16 SAGEX2/17
6+ (Fine—Very Fine): The paperweight shows moderate to heavy surface wear, especially to high points, nearly all of the painted details remain intact.
As with all my items, this piece is guaranteed original.
