Description

ARTIFACT:

Extremely rare WWII Jenkel Jewelers United States Army Air Forces Glider Pilot Wing in 1-3/4" size, for wear on an overseas cap.

The wing is made of sterling silver with lovely hand chased detailed wings and a factory applied letter "G" in the center for "Glider Pilot".

VINTAGE:

Circa WWII.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/4" in length x 9/16" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with drop in locking catch.

MARKINGS:

"JENKEL JEWELERS STERLING"
