Description

ARTIFACT:

Extremely rare WWII era Chinese KMT (Kuomintang of China) Navy Naval Ensign in multi-piece silk. The KMT or Chinese Nationalist Party was the ruling party in China during WWII and was led by Chiang Kai-shek. The ensign is navy blue with a large Kuomintang emblem, a white star in the center, the flag was apparently found in Japan – the center star shows handwriting that reads: "YOKOHAMMA JAPAN".

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The flag shows moderate wear, some separation near the ties (see photo), small holes and light soiling, overall very fine condition.
