Ext. Rare WWII Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Squadron HQ Sign for Manchester Squadron New Hampshire
ARTIFACT: Beautifully and professionally painted on Masonite board, this is the World War II period Headquarters sign for the Manchester, NH Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol. During WWII the squadron flew out of Grenier Field, which is now Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. The sign reads: "CIVIL AIR PATROL" over the WWII CAP shoulder insignia that sits at center, with "MANCHESTER SQUADRON" below, and "Manchester, New Hampshire" as the bottom line.
VINTAGE: Circa World War II.
SIZE: Approximately 28-1/2"e; in height and 42-1/8" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted Masonite.
