This is an Extremely Rare World War I United State Navy Yeomanette Photo ID Badge Iconic Yeoman (F) Hat. She is probably wearing black framed glasses.
The Yeomen (F), or "Yeomanettes" as they were popularly known, primarily served in secretarial and clerical positions, though some were translators, draftsmen, fingerprint experts, ship camouflage designers and recruiting agents.
VINTAGE:
World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 1-7/8" in height x 2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking catch.
