Description
This is a extremely rare World War I Italian Military Aviation Corps Model 1912 First Grade Pilot Badge in Bullion on US ARMY OLIVE DRAB WOOL. There is no question as to who would have worn this badge. A distinctively NOT Italian color wool. For right breast wear by a UA Army Pilot, or Jr. Military Aviator, which mist pilots actually were, and which this badge exactly represents. Only one I've had in this color, with an unquestionable US tie. Unfortunately, not biographical. Not as giant as the previous wing.
Circa WWI.
