Description
This is an Extremely rare handmade AVG-type Chinese Blood Chit circa early-mid 194This example is even more scarce in the smaller size and is in excellent, unsewn condition. This variation is as shown on page 25 of Robert E. Baldwin's "Behind Enemy Lines" Evasion and Escape Aids of World War II. The top half of the chit is a Chinese flag in multi-piece colored leather and beneath Chinese characters.
VINTAGE:World War II. Early-mid 1942.
SIZE:Approximately 10-1/2" in height x 7-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chinese flag in multi-piece colored leather and beneath Chinese characters.
