ARTIFACT:

This is an Extremely Rare Enameled SILVER Award Badge of the USSR 1934 Competition of Auto-Tractor Diesel Engines, badge number 7Our research shows that there are TWO other known examples of this badge in Silver.

The front of the badge reads:

Approximately 1-3/8" in height x 1-1/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold washed enameled silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

916 Silver marks on the badge, backing plate, and retaining screw, along with BKX (?), assumed to be for the Russian Artists Cooperative in Moscow.
