This is an Extremely Rare circa 1944 - 1945 SAAF SALM SUID AFRIKAANSE LUG MAG South African Air Force No 8 Advanced Repair Depot Badge with wing on Shield, and 8 on the center, and Wording on S.A.A.F. and A.R.D and WE FIT TO F??T.

Circa 1944 - 1945.

Approximately: 2-5/8" in height x 2-1/4" in width.

Enameled brass with silver plating.

Vertical safety-style pin with circular saddle.
