ARTIFACT:

This is an Extremely Rare circa 1910's Ku Klux Klan Pyro Glass Paperweight with Torch Bearing Hooded Rider "DUTY".

This is an Extremely Rare, and Possibly the only one extant, as we can find NO OTHER EXAMPLES sold previously, manufactured enameled pyro glass paperweight showing a Torch Bearing Robed Klansman riding a Robed Horse, the gravure type image presented on a base reading: DUTY.

This artifact dates to the beginnings of the period of the 2nd Klan, the late 1910s. 

The artifact shows only light wear and minor scuffing incurred over its 100+ years of existence. 

A unique, graphic, addition to any collection of this tumultuous period of US history.

Circa 1910s.

Approximately: 4-1/8" in height x 2-5/8" in width x 3/4" in depth.

8+ (Excellent): The one side of the glass shows abrasion (image 7). Overall, it is in excellent condition.
