ARTIFACT: This is an Extremely Rare 1945 Imperial Japanese Navy Pair of Signal Flags from Yokosuka Submarine Base Corps.

西暦 一九四五年 Western calendar (A.D.)1945
貸基信: Lental Flag Signal
White Flag: 二二: 22
Red Flag: 三一: 31

VINTAGE: Circa WWII 1945.

SIZE: Approximately Flag: 11-5/8" in height x 10" in width. Handle: 5 x 5/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk/Cotton hand sewn on the wood stick, and ink and nail.

ATTACHMENT: Wood stick.

MARKINGS: N/A

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Japanese collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. 

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The flags shows minor to moderate wear, and white flag is especally worn. Overall, this is a very rare
