ARTIFACT:

This is a very rare United States Navy Submarine Officer Mess Dress Size Dolphins Badge in 14 Karat Gold by BB&B Bailey, Banks & Biddle. Badge has two stylized dolphins flanking the oncoming bow of a submarine breaking the waves.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930's - WWII.

SIZE:

1-1/2" in length x 7/16" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

14 Karat Gold.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with drop-in locking catch.
