This is an Extremely Rare 1850's District of Columbia Police Badge. Early wearer's initials can be seen on lower legs of Star Pre -Metropolitan Force.
VINTAGE:
1850s.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-1/4" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Silver.
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical T-style pin, No Catch.

CONDITION:
7 (Very Fine): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, and period of repair on back, and missing catch, with great patina. Overall, it is in very fine condition.
