This is a gorgeous WWI M1914 Imperial Prussian Army Observer Badge, manufactured circa 191This badge, produced by the "Tiffany" of Germany: Godet, was made of later war silver plated tombak. The pin bears the non-silver Godet Maltese Cross marking, and has beautiful riveted construction.
This badge is in exquisite condition, and would be hard to upgrade from, with seemingly 99% of its original plating intact, sporting a lovely moderate patina. The badge shows almost no wear.

World War I, circa 1917.
SIZE:Approximately 2-7/8" in height x 1-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Central piece is enameled Silvered brass, main badge & findings are Silver Plated Tombak,
ATTACHMENT:Vertical T-style pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:Godet Maltese Cross marking on the Pin.

CONDITION:8- (Excellent-): The badge shows Lovely Patina and only light wear Retaining 90% of the silver patina, and lightly tarnish. Overall, it is in excellent condition.
