ARTIFACT:

This is a Excellent Condition WWII US Army Ranger Battalions Patch Approved Design (D-Day) Shoulder Patch, worn by members of the 2nd and 5th Ranger Battalions during training. This patch has been removed from a uniform and spent some time in a scrapbook. It is a blue diamond bordered in gold that reads RANGERS.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWII.

SIZE:

Approximately 2" in height and 3-7/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in silk/cotton threads.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn on.
