This is an elaborate Celtic brooch in silver-plated brass with enamel. It dates from the 1920s or 1930s, and has a maker mark on reverse showing a Celtic image with Gaelic writing.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920's 1930's.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/16" in width x 1-5/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal British type spring pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:Maker mark: Celtic image with Gaelic writing.
