ARTIFACT:

This is a circa early World War II "V for Victory" pin made from two Lincoln pennies. Te top penny has a "V" painted in red, white and blue at its center and the one hanging below was stamped to resemble a helmet. The pennies are form 1917 and 1930.

VINTAGE:

Circa early World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 3/4" in width and 1-9/16" in length.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Copper, painted details.

ATTACHMENT:

Suspension ring, safety pin.

MARKINGS:

None.
