Early WWII USMC Sweetheart Heart-Shaped Locket Necklace (Left Hinge) in Original Box Used

This is an early World War II United States Marine Corps sweetheart necklace with a locket shaped like a heart. The necklace comes in its original box, and has a small eagle, globe and anchor on its front.

Circa early World War II.

Locket: approximately 5/8" by 7/8"; chain about 14" in length (including clasp); box: 2-3/8" by 3-3/8" by 1/2".

Gilt brass, velvet, cardboard box.

Decorative clasp on chain; hinge on locket; two piece box.
