Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an early WWII American-made jacket patch for the United States 530th Fighter Bomber Squadron, 311th Fighter Bomber Group, 10th Air Force. Patch is round in cement gray and shows a man riding a bomb with a spyglass attached to his nose.

VINTAGE:

Circa early WWII.

SIZE:

5" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Felt wool patch with silk and cotton embroidery.

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

8+ (Excellent): Patch has very little wear and discoloration around edge.
