ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces Air Corps Ferrying Command jacket patch. 

The patch shows an aircraft sailing past the globe and displays different colored bars in code around the border. 
The patch is gold rather than silver, denoting its origin in an early period of the war.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: 2-3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered patch in multi-colored cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: The patch you receive will either be this one or one very similar. This is from a United States Air Force collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX05 LHEX06

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Patch is in great shape and has wonderful coloring.
