This is a rare circa early World War II Italian Air Force pilot wing. The wing is in a solid construction and has a Florentine maker mark. The design is an eagle beneath a crown clutching a fasces.
VINTAGE:Circa early World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height and 2-15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal plunger-style pin.
MARKINGS:PICCHIANI-BARLACCHI FIRENZE.
