ARTIFACT: This is a sterling silver WWII Home Front War Worker lapel pin from American Car & Foundry, which is in the shape of a 3/4 view of a Tank.

American Car & Foundry was located in Berwick Pennsylvania, and s WWII was starting, the company was contracted in 1939 by the US Army to produce 329 heavy armored tanks. This pin was given out to workers at the Foundry to boost morale and show patriotism.


VINTAGE: Circa erly World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 3/8" in height x 3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking catch.
