ARTIFACT: This is a circa early World War II American Field Service collar badge. Members of the American Field Service were volunteer ambulance drivers who rescued wounded soldiers in different overseas regions. It is in gilt brass and white enamel.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in height and 1-9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
