ARTIFACT:

This is an early United States Coast Guard honorable discharge pin. The pin shows two anchors crossed behind a striped crest and reads U.S. COAST GUARD HONORABLE DISCHARGE.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

About 5/8" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with blue enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw pin with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

A.E. TALARTS CO. ROCH N.Y.
