Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an early badge from the National Detective Bureau named to George Little on the reverse. The badge shows the all - seeing - eye at top with light radiating from it.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1910's - 1920's.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 1-7/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety-style pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS:

GEORGE LITTLE and MAYER INDPLS (Indianapolis).

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Badge lettering has worn away but there are few abrasions.
