ARTIFACT:

This is an Early, Late 1920s Fascist Italy Opera Balilla Youth Organization Maker Badge in Silvered Bronze.

Opera Nazionale Balilla (ONB) was an Italian Fascist youth organization functioning between 1926 and 1937, when it was absorbed into the Gioventu Italiana del Littorio (GIL), a youth section of the National Fascist Party. 

VINTAGE:

Late 1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-7/16" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silvered Bronze.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.
