ARTIFACT: This is an early SS (Schutzstaffel) officer collar tab. The SS began in 1925 as a bodyguard unit for Adolf Hitler and went on to become one of the greatest and most influential groups in the Third Reich.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1920s – 1930s.

SIZE: 1-1/2" height and 2-1/2" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Black velvet with mesh backing.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Nazi Germany collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX05 LADEX8/10

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Tab has some marks of light to medium wear on front and reverse.
