Early German SS (Schutzstaffel) Officer Collar Tab

This is an early SS (Schutzstaffel) officer collar tab. The SS began in 1925 as a bodyguard unit for Adolf Hitler and went on to become one of the greatest and most influential groups in the Third Reich.

Circa late 1920s – 1930s.

1-1/2" height and 2-1/2" width.

Black velvet with mesh backing.

7+ (Very Fine+): Tab has some marks of light to medium wear on front and reverse.
