ARTIFACT:
This is a very early Massachusetts professional chauffeur license badge numbered A9642. The badge is round with a finely notched border and lettering painted in black.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1906. A special thanks to Stewart Berg, Massachusetts license plate historian for clarifying the vintage on this and our other early Massachusetts Chauffeur badges.
SIZE:
Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Nickel-plated brass, painted details.
