This is an early Boston Police Patrolman's brass hat badge - numbers in pin-back style, numbered 1034.

VINTAGE:

Circa early 1900's.

SIZE:

About 2" in width by 3/4" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal safety type pin with a "C" catch.

MARKINGS:

None.
