This is a circa early 1960's jacket patch made for the United States Air Force's 509th Bomb Wing.
The patch shows a badge above the Latin words DEFENSOR VINDEX.
Circa early 1960s.
About 3-3/8" in width x 3-3/4" in height.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Fully embroidered patch with multi-colored cotton threads.
To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Patch is beautiful except for discoloration on reverse only. Patch has been slightly elongated vertically from wear. Removed form Flight Clothing.
