Description
This is a blue Massachusetts State Police sergeant's shirt made from either gabardine or woven wool. There are sergeant's stripes on both sleeves and a patch on the right shoulder which reads MASSACHUSETTS STATE POLICE and shows the state seal.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1950s.
SIZE:Approx. size 40-42.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gabardine woven wool shirt; sergeant's stripes are embroidered on the same type of material as the shirt; patch is silk machine-embroidered on a dark blue woven wool.
ATTACHMENT:Buttons.
MARKINGS:Original sewn-in label reads LANDSDALE-HAMPTON UNIFORM CORP.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine - Excellent): Shirt shows light wear with slight discoloration near bottom where it would be tucked in.
