Early 1950s Bullion Japanese-Made US Naval Air Station Patch

This is a Korean War-era jacket patch made for the United States Navy's Air Station at Atsugi, Japan. The patch shows a winged crest in front of a Japanese-style gate with a mountain in the background and reads ATSUGI NAS JAPAN 1953 1954.

Circa 1953-1954.

4-7/16" diameter.

Felt patch embroidered with multi-colored cotton and gold and silver bullion threads with muslin backing.

6- (Fine): This is a great patch that has moderate tarnish on the bullion threads and a small piece of the felt missing.
