ARTIFACT:
This is an early 1940s shoulder patch for Eastern Air Lines. The patch is embroidered on twill and shows the bold crimson Eastern bird flying against a two-toned sky.
VINTAGE:
Circa early 1940s.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-13/16" in height and 2-5/8" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads with mesh backing.
