This is an early 1900s "stock" police cut-out star badge. The badge has a great design with short strokes all around the edge of the badge and the star itself, creating an embroidery-like effect.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1900s.
SIZE:2-1/16" height 1-3/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin with "C" catch.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Badge shows spots of light to medium wear and has an overall tarnish.
