This is a circa early 1890s Lancaster, Massachusetts police badge. The badge is by Gard Company of Worcester, Massachusetts. This shield-shaped badge is in a smaller size, and bears the number 46.

Circa early 1890's.

Approximately 1-5/8" in height x 1-3/8" in width.

Nickel-plated nickel.

Vertical kick pin with C catch.
