Description
This is a circa 1945 souvenir scarf from the China-Burma-India theatre reading HONG KONG 194The silk scarf is embroidered with a fantastic orange and gold dragon at one end and four chop marks at the opposite end. The longer edges are finished and the shorter edges are not. This is most likely a United States Navy bring-back.
VINTAGE:Circa 1945.
SIZE:Approximately 44" in length and 9-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk embroidered in silk/cotton threads.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The scarf shows some light wear and creasing; there is some fraying on unfinished edges and just a few stitches loose on the finished edges.
