This is a Cool 1930's Los Angeles California Police Department Series 5 Detective Lieutenant "Juice" Badge Double Maker Marked.  

Circa 1930's.

Approximately 3-3/8" in height x 2-3/8" in width.

Gold plated brass with hard fired enamel.

Vertical pin with drop-in locking catch.
