Classic John F. Kennedy (JFK) 1960 Presidential Race PT Boat Tie Bar by Jolle

This is a classic PT boat tie bar promoting John F. Kennedy in the 1960 United States Presidential race against Richard M. Nixon. Kennedy served in the Navy as officer of a few Motor Torpedo Boat Squadrons, and won the Purple Heart and Navy and Marine Corps Medal for his actions during and after the wreck of PT-10The tie bar has KENNEDY 60 on its hull and is marked JOLLE on reverse.

Circa 1960.

Approximately 1-3/4" in length and 3/8" in height.

Gilt brass, painted details.

Tie clip.
