ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1980 jacket patch for the United States Air Force 47th Tactical Fighter Squadron, also known as the "Hornets". The patch is fully embroidered with the squadron's mascot at center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1980.

SIZE: Approximately 3-3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, partial mesh backing (factory repair).

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Force Tactical Fighter Squadron jacket patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay XDJV13 LBHX10/13

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch has some light wear and a period factory repair.
