This is a Bar Harbor Airlines wing from around 1980. The airlines began in 1971 and its first very popular route was to Boston. At the center of this detailed wing is a blue enameled circle bearing the silhouette of a very Eastern-inspired bird.
VINTAGE:Circa 1980.
SIZE:Approximately 11/16" in height and 3-5/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome- and gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts, clutch backs are missing.
MARKINGS:None.
