ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1972-1975 Continental Air Services Inc. (CASI) bullion captain's wing by Gemsco. CASI was begun in 1965 as a line strictly for United States governmental business in southeast Asia. The wing has the Continental logo at its center and a wreathed star above.

VINTAGE: Circa 1972-1975.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 3-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk-wrapped cardboard embroidered with bullion and cotton/silk threads, gold-plated brass, brass catches, wool backing, foil label.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutch-back catches..

MARKINGS: GEMSCO ¨ label.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing shows some small areas of light wear and tarnish only.
