ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1972-1975 1st officer wing for Continental Air Services Inc. (CASI). CASI was begun in 1965 as a line strictly for United States governmental business in southeast Asia. The badge has the Continental logo at its center and is embroidered in gold bullion threads.

VINTAGE: Circa 1972-1975.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in height and 3-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk-wrapped cardboard embroidered with bullion and cotton/silk threads, gilt brass, wool backing.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutch-backs.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: The wing you receive will either be the one pictured or one in very similar condition. This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAJJX12 LCJJX8/12
