ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1960's United States Navy identification badge for the Naval Air Test Facility (NATF) at Naval Air Station (NAS) Lakehurst, New Jersey. Now known as Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst, NAS Lakehurst was the site of the Hindenburg zeppelin disaster in 193The NATF was started in 195The badge is numbered 77 and was made by Bastian Brothers.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960's.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/16" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Painted tin.

ATTACHMENT:

Pocket clip.

MARKINGS:

BASTIAN BROS. ROCHESTER N.Y. on clip.
